Ladies Prayer Meeting Sat 10 AM
WHERE: Church Auditorium
WHEN: Saturday mornings @ 10:00 a.m.
With our incredibly busy lives and our tendency as women to “overextend ourselves”, this is NOT just another “boring” responsibility for our women in leadership, Sunday School Teachers or our church women, but rather a time of fellowship and bonding with one another!
WE LOVE AND LOOK FORWARD TO LADIES PRAYER TIME!
We meet weekly for a practical Bible lesson given by our Pastor’s wife, Roxanne Massa, for a time of sweet fellowship as well as an opportunity to open up with the needs of our lives, our church, and other requests. It is the BEST time we have during the week to get together and lift up the names of others before the Throne of Grace.
We have entitled our Saturday Bible Devotions “A.R.I.S.E.” for this 2025 year! It goes along with our church theme “Arise & Revive in 2025”. “Wherefore he said, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” Eph. 5:14.
Please prayerfully consider and plan to join us Saturday mornings to put an hour of your time to “good works”!
Men's Prayer Meeting Sat 10 AM
On Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m. men at Landmark Baptist meet to pray together. We as a congregation need the presence of God and the power of God in our midst and these are given to us thru prayer.
The prayer time is also when we can take the opportunity to pray one for another regarding personal needs, family needs, salvation of individuals and other circumstances where we need the Lord’s help and guidance. The Lord said, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” (Jer. 33:3) The great God who is above all and all powerful has promised to hear us and answer us when we pray. Prayer time is also a great opportunity for fellowship and spiritual growth. Men’s prayer sets the standard of prayer, being an essential and integral part of our lives, individually and as a congregation.
Saturday Visitation Sat 10 AM
Every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Auditorium
Believing that our Savior has given to the church the “Great Commission” of reaching the lost world with the gospel and making disciples (Matt 28:18-20), we as a congregation seek to fulfill that responsibility thru our visitation program.
Each Saturday morning we gather together, and then we go out into the community to invite people to Sunday School and make follow-up calls. We hand out gospel tracts and preach in the downtown area, and knock on doors in all of our local neighborhoods. The Lord told his disciples they were to be witnesses for Him in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the uttermost part of the earth. Thru our visitation program we seek to reach our Jerusalem (Stamford and the surrounding communities) with the gospel.
"And the Lord said unto the servant, Go into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." Luke 14:23
Bus Ministry Sun and Wed
The Landmark Baptist Church Bus Ministry is for anyone of any age who requires transportation to our Sunday School and Sunday morning services. The bus is also available on Wednesday nights for anyone who would like to attend our weekly Prayer Meeting and Bible Study.
The ministry is run by experienced bus captains who have been trained to deal with children and will have the duty of keeping them safe and out of trouble through the service. The bus has a good spirit filled environment of singing, preaching and Christian based games for all ages to enjoy.
Baptisms
Baptism by immersion follows salvation and is a step of obedience for every believer (Acts 8:36-39). Photos from recent baptism services are in our photo gallery.
Discipleship Ministry
The Lord's command to His disciples before leaving this world was "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matt. 28:19-20)
We call this command the Great Commission. This commission involves:
- Winning the lost to Christ
- Baptizing converts
- Teaching believers to obey what the Savior has commanded them in the Scriptures
The lessons in our Discipleship Course will help the Christian understand basic Bible doctrines and apply scriptural principles to daily living providing the foundational steps to becoming a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, a disciple.
Sunday School Classes
Babyland Nursery During services
It is our goal that while you attend services at Landmark Baptist Church you and your child have a wonderful and blessed experience. We believe that children are a gift from God and should be cared for and considered as precious gifts.
(Psalm 127:3 - Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward)

Our Babies!
Pre-Primaries, Ages 2 to 5 Sun 10 AM
Come discover the fun of the 2's - 5's Sunday School class!
Our desire is to sow nuggets of Spiritual truth in the hearts of these precious little ones that will take root and bear fruit as they grow!
Each week, our experienced teachers are eager to share the love of Christ with each child through Bible stories, songs, and hands-on crafts. Our small teacher/student ratio enables us to use multi-sensory, age-appropriate activities to reinforce our Bible lesson and instill Scripture memorization. We also participate in music specials, holiday parties and minster to others in practical ways as we apply Eph. 4:32 (Be ye kind, one to another…) to all our lessons.
Parents can relax and enjoy their own Sunday school class knowing that their child is in a safe, loving environment being nurtured both spiritually and physically – learning and having fun all the while!

Primaries, Grades 1 to 3 Sun 10 AM
"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me:" Matthew 19:14a
Sunday School for Primaries (Grades 1 to 4) is a great experience for children, not only to learn the Bible, but to develop a love for the Bible at a young age. Your child will experience the joys of singing, making crafts, and most importantly learning all about God and obeying His Word.
Kids will enjoy receiving prizes for their work, learning new Bible stories every Sunday, and learning the importance of praying and asking God for help with their needs. It is a blessing to bring the gospel to this age group and to see their faces understanding salvation and a desire to ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into their hearts and lives.
We as teachers want to help you as parents or guardians to keep building your sons and daughters spiritual life. Please allow us to work together in order to reach his goal! We will be waiting for you here at Landmark Baptist Church!

Juniors, Grades 4 to 7 Sun 10 AM
Sunday School for Juniors (Grades 4 to 7) is a great experience for older kids to learn the Bible and develop a love for it at an age where the scriptures can begin to have a powerful impact on their lives. Kids at this age find themselves thrust into a very influential peer group, and not all of those influences are beneficial. Bible teaching for this age level will attempt to establish a firm spiritual foundation for living in a world filled with temptations and secular thinking.
Trusting in God takes a lifetime of trial and error. Having strong spiritual anchors based on the Word of God can help kids navigate the obstacle course of life to avoid the pitfalls that can distract them from reaching their goal to become persons of good character. Not a laudry list of dos and don'ts, but a course of learning that produces clear thinking, good morals and a true understanding of the Gospel.
Teaching will focus on God's Plan of Salvation through Jesus Christ. New students might not yet know Jesus as their personal savior. Lessons will help guide them to an understanding of salvation with an opportunity to make their own free will decision to follow Christ for the rest of their lives.
As teachers, we desire to help you build the spiritual lives of your sons and daughters. Let's work together to reach his goal! We look forward to meeting you here at Landmark Baptist Church.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Jr. and Sr. High, Grades 8 to 12 Sun 10 AM
The junior and senior high years can be the most difficult and challenging times. Our class for young people in grades 8 to 12 will give them the biblical foundation to thrive in an environment that seeks to push them into ways of thinking and behaving that do not honor God. In our class, they will be in a supportive group of friends who want to learn more about Jesus, and who are experiencing the challenges of transitioning from childhood to adulthood just like they are. Peer pressure and temptation are very strong during this time in their lives, and kids need confirmation for thinking correctly about morality. This is also a time of life when kids are beginning to establish a firm foundation of faith that will carry them throughout their entire lives. Young people will be encouraged to speak openly about their experiences, and to ask for help from a caring church staff.
Teaching will focus on God's Plan of Salvation through Jesus Christ. New students might not yet know Jesus as their personal savior. Lessons will help guide them to an understanding of salvation with an opportunity to make their own free will decision to follow Christ for the rest of their lives.
Bring your young people to class every Sunday. It is one of the most important gifts you can give them as parents and guardians. We look forward to having you visit soon!

Young Adult Class Sun 10 AM
The Young Adult Class is designed for high school and college aged students. It focuses on the needs of singles starting from 18 years of age and up to 30. We study the Bible on Sunday mornings to gain a deeper understanding of the scriptures, and to learn the spiritual context of the various scenarios, challenges and temptations young men and women face everyday.
Our goal is to provide the participants with a biblical perspective and spiritual tools to make decisions critically, prayerfully and ultimately in the will of God. Our ministry offers Bible study, discipleship, and fellowship with the group meeting frequently outside of church to fellowship and to be lights among our peers in the Stamford area, and wherever else we happen to venture.
We are excited to have people join us and welcome the opportunity to learn, study, and grow with others. Please come check us out.
Pastor's Bible Study Sun 10 AM
"Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness." 2 Timothy 2:14-16
Adult Sunday class at Landmark is taught by Pastor Vince Massa. Rightly dividing the word for the class, to understand the Bible as it speaks about past, current and future events.
Currently studying: The Gospel of John. JOIN US! Sunday 10 to 11 AM.

Youth Ministries
Junior Church Sun 11 AM
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he shall not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
Children are a blessing from the Lord and with these blessings come responsibilities. As stewards of God's children, our Junior Church teachers strive to provide an environment in which kids are taught at an age-appropriate level and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ during the 11 AM Sunday Service. Junior Church is divided into two age groups: Ages 4 to 6 and Ages 7 to 10.
We minister to the spiritual needs of our children through a fun, exciting, and Bible filled Junior Church.
Pee Wee Church Sun 11 AM
Our Pee Wee church ministry gives children 2 to 3 years of age an opportunity to hear God’s Word taught in an engaging way. The children are encouraged to worship God through singing, fun activities, and age-appropriate, God-centered Bible lessons, while their parents attend the 11:00 AM Sunday morning service downstairs in the main Sanctuary.
The Pee Wees have their own church service in our 2nd floor classroom. They go directly to their class at 11:00 AM. The children who also attend the 10:00 AM Sunday School hour can stay right there in the classroom for the Pee Wee Church service.
